Fishing For Muskie On Lake St. Clair
Lake St. Clair is undoubtedly the world's most productive muskie fishery. The naturally reproducing Great Lakes strain of muskie grow fast, and very large. The Michigan DNR and Ontario MNR are managing Lake St. Clair as a Trophy Fishery with a minimum size limit of 44 inches. Catch and Release is widely practiced and the catch rate and size is getting more spectacular each year.
Last year we had a record 15 trips were we boated 30 fish in a day! With 16 of them being in the 50 inch class! Our largest of the year was 52 inches and 39 pounds which won the momc largest fish of the year on St.Clair.
Our 30 FT 2002 Pursuit will get you to the fish fast and safe. She has a standup head, and is furnished with all Shiamono tackle, and quality baits.
Captain Denis has been fishing Muskie on St.Clair for 17 years and knows the water well.
A Michigan Fishing lisence is required, If you would like to fish the waters of Canada a Canadian fishing license can be arranged one week in advance.
